About Morakai

West London Born Versatile pop singer and songwriter 'Morakai' uniquely blends R&B, Garage, and Hip-Hop in his music with his noticeably catchy hooks. With a background in prestigious schools like 'The Barbara Speake Stage School' and 'Sylvia Young Theatre School,' Morakai developed skills in acting, dancing, and singing alongside talents like Rita Ora and Dua Lipa. His early career included appearances in BBC's Ceebebies magazine, modeling for River Island, and an apperance in the 2017 film 'Beauty and the Beast' with Emma Watson. Morakai excelled in dance competitions, later moving to South Wales and appearing in 'Doctor Who' and 'Casualty.' After being a finalist in a National Welsh talent competition, he discovered a passion for songwriting and music production under the influence of his father, resulting in his 14-track debut album 'AyyyTeen' which was finished off in the ledgendary 'Abbey Road Studios' before release. Morakai has showcased his versatility in many iconic Welsh venues, as well as receiving mentorship from well known UK Grime rapper Maxsta (Ian Leone) and 'Topboy' actor/rapper Blakie.
